Our friends at BigRock Aikikai are pleased to host an upcoming seminar with Y. Kawahara Sensei, 8th Dan.

Ben Sensei’s birthday is on Feb. 1st. We will be celebrating it on Friday, Jan 29th after class at Bubblemania Cafe on 16th Ave. and 4th St. NE. They now accept debit, Visa & Mastercard! If you can not attend class but you want to come out with us, please call or Email Eric. We should be well started the fun by 9:40 pm. Even stopping by to say “Hi” would be awesome.

On Friday, Jan. 15th from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm Masa Kokoro will be participating in SAIT’s annual Fitness Week activities. This one class will be free to the public to participate in or watch. For details on what this class will be like, please see our ‘your first class‘ page.

We’ve made more improvements to the Journal this week. The search page now lists all the techniques and a description of each one, including the Japanese writing. Having problems remembering the name of a technique? You can use this page to see all the meanings at a glance for your reference.

Also, the back-end has changed. It is now easier to add journal entries and videos, as well as see the full content of all entries after a search is performed for a particular attack-defense combination.
